Presentato il padiglione dell’Austria per l’Expo 2015 di Milano: l’aria è uno dei nuclei tematici principali attorno al quale è stato disegnato il progetto, che si inserirà nel tema generale dell’Expo, Nutrire il pianeta, energia per la vita. Vediamo il padiglione austriaco più nel dettaglio.
Il padiglione dell’Austria per l’Expo 2015 di Milano si concentra sull’aria, sull’importanza di preservarne la qualità, sul suo indissolubile legame con la vita. Il padiglione austriaco nasce da una selezione tra 56 team di esperti: il progetto finale è stato realizzato da breathe.austria e punta, tanto a livello di contenuti quanto a livello di struttura, a sensibilizzare i visitatori nei confronti dell’importanza della qualità dell’aria (sempre un fiore all’occhiello per la nazione austriaca). Nella struttura sarà presente della vegetazione di tipo boschivo (in grado di produrre 62 kg e mezzo di ossigeno ogni ora) che, distribuita entro un totale di 560 metri quadrati, permetterà di porre davanti agli occhi dei visitatori i meccanismi naturali di assorbimento di CO2 e emissione di ossigeno propri delle piante, nonché di approfondire lo stesso discorso rapportandolo alla realtà odierna ove, come è a dir poco noto, l’inquinamento atmosferico rappresenta un problema sempre più drammatico.
Il padiglione dell’Austria per l’Expo 2015 che si terrà nel capoluogo lombardo si focalizza quindi sul concetto di aria come bene comune, e proporrà ai visitatori dell’esposizione un approfondimento sul tema che si pone come collaterale a quelli su acqua, terra, cibo, energia, di tanti altri paesi, come ad esempio l’acqua per il padiglione della Repubblica Ceca e il cibo per il padiglione dell’Expo di Israele.
In merito al tema dell’Expo 2015, Nutrire il pianeta, energia per la vita, appare chiaro quanto sia fondamentale il lavoro da fare, nel futuro prossimo e meno prossimo, per salvaguardare la qualità dell’aria, senza la quale non si può procedere a uno sviluppo sostenibile che sia veramente tale.
