La regione ha stanziato 300 milioni di euro che verranno distribuiti tra diversi Enti locali, tra cui il Parco di Portofino e il Parco dell’Aveto, per il piano di gestione sostenibile delle foreste. Come ha spiegato l’assessore regionale all’Ambiente, Renata Briano
L’obiettivo principale della Regione Liguria attraverso Robinwood è stimolare i proprietari forestali, gli operatori economici e le comunità a decidere insieme come gestire i boschi e condividere le opportunità che possono offrire.
L’eco-progetto europeo per la gestione sostenibile delle foreste prevede inoltre incentivi per lo sviluppo locale del legno e la promozione dell’artigianato, corsi di informazione ed educazione ambientale sui temi forestali, incentivi all’energia rinnovabile proveniente da biomasse.
