Nonostante se ne parli molto poco, anche in Italia i cosiddetti Green Jobs, cioè i mestieri verdi che riguardano il campo dell’ecologia, si stanno moltiplicando, anche in periodi di crisi. Se le aziende “tradizionali” tagliano sempre più il personale, quelle nuove “verdi” hanno continuato ad assumere e si prevede possano allargare ulteriormente il loro campo d’azione per i prossimi anni.
Per questo una delle principali agenzie del lavoro, l’Adecco, in collaborazione con Solarexpo, ha aperto il green job center, un centro in cui domanda e offerta dei cosiddetti “colletti verdi” si possano incontrare, per facilitare lo sviluppo del settore. Un esempio del progetto che gli ideatori hanno in mente? Alla fine del 2009 i lavoratori del settore ecologico erano stimati in 109 mila unità. Ora si prevede che a fine 2010 questi diventino 150 mila, e possano arrivare almeno fino a 250 mila entro il 2020.
Ma c’è ancora gran confusione su ciò che può essere considerato lavoro verde. Diciamo prima di tutto che, più in generale, i lavoratori verdi sono quelli che lavorano nelle centrali ad energia rinnovabile. Per la maggior parte infatti si tratta di classici lavori che esistono da secoli (operai, ingegneri, progettisti, venditori e tecnici di ogni genere), che però prestano la loro competenza ed il loro lavoro nel solare, eolico, ecc., piuttosto che in aziende inquinanti.
E poi ci sono dei lavori che non esisterebbero senza le tecnologie pulite, come gli eco-architetti, quelli che costruiscono le case con le norme della bioedilizia, installatori di pannelli solari e quant’altro. Spiega Sara Quotti Tubi, direttore di Solarexpo:
