L’ondata di caldo record che sta imperversando da diversi giorni sul nostro Paese, le inondazioni che si sono abbattute su Inghilterra e Mar Nero, ma anche gli incendi in Colorado, hanno una matrice comune: tre anticicloni che si trovano attualmente sul Messico, sul deserto del Sahara occidentale, e tra il Pakistan e l’India.
A spiegare i tre eventi climatici, molto diversi tra loro, potrebbero essere tre anticicloni
Dinamici caldi, ovvero tre enormi bolle di caldo. Le lingue di fuoco che scaturiscono da queste bolle sono responsabili delle ondate di calore e ai loro bordi, dove le zone calde si scontrano con quelle fredde, ci sono fenomeni monsonici, ovvero le forti piogge che causano inondazioni e allagamenti come quelli sul Mar Nero e in Inghilterra, dove attualmente c’è l’allerta alluvione nelle zone centrali e meridionali
e dove si registra l’estate più fredda dal 1951 e più piovosa dal 1900. Questa in sintesi la motivazione data dal climatologo dell’Enea Vincenzo Ferrara per spiegare l’ondata di caldo africano in Italia e le devastanti condizioni meteo nel resto del mondo. Condizioni che si ripetono nel tempo, come avvenne nel 1998, 2005 e 2010 quando si registrarono gli anni più caldi degli ultimi decenni. Il responsabile delle inondazioni e dei violenti nubifragi nel Mar Nero che sono costate la morte di cento persone, sarebbe l’anticiclone indiano che sta creando una cappa di calore su Turchia e Siberia occidentale, facendo registrare temperature record di 40 gradi. L’aria calda, scontrandosi con quella fredda presente sul Mar Nero, dà origine al fenomeno monsonico. La situazione si ripete più a sud dove l’anticiclone che si trova su Pakistan e Bangladesh sta provocando inondazioni nella vicina India. Così come l’anticiclone sopra il Sahara occidentale ha creato una cappa di caldo su Italia e Golfo di Guinea, e monsoni in Africa occidentale.
Nei prossimi giorni le condizioni meteo peggioreranno portando forti piogge, non si escludono alluvioni, in Germania e Svizzera. Mentre nella costa occidentale USA l’anticiclone dinamico messicano sta creando una forte tempesta tropicale che dovrebbe abbattersi sulla costa californiana.
