Entro l’anno 2012, a Padova, saranno realizzate in tre punti strategici della città tre pensiline fotovoltaiche che fungeranno da stazioni di ricarica per le biciclette elettriche. Trattasi, quindi, di un progetto di mobilità sostenibile ed eco-compatibile a 360 gradi, ovverosia del servizio di sharing “ricaricato” direttamente dal sole, che individua uno dei primi progetti pilota nel nostro Paese.
Il tutto grazie ai fondi che saranno concessi dalla Regione Veneto nell’ambito del programma P.O.R. Fesr a valere dal 2007 al 2013. Il progetto è coordinato dalla Fondazione Fenice onlus assieme ad alcune società operanti nell’alta tecnologia, ed ha chiaramente come obiettivo quello di andare a creare una dorsale per la mobilità elettrica, nel Comune di Padova, da integrare con quello che in città è il circuito ciclabile già esistente.
Nella sua fase iniziale, il progetto partirà con le tre pensiline fotovoltaiche e con un parco composto da quindici bici a pedalata assistita dall’alimentazione ad energia elettrica. La progettazione delle pensiline, al fine di garantire la massima integrazione a livello paesaggistico ed architettonico, è affidata al MaTech del Parco Scientifico e Tecnologico Galileo ed alla Scuola Italiana Design, ma ci sono anche le società Italwin, leader nella produzione di biciclette elettriche, e la Solon che opera nel fotovoltaico.
Il progetto, rispetto agli altri presenti in Italia, è innovativo in quanto il bike sharing con le bici elettriche ed il fotovoltaico sulle pensiline rappresentano in tutto e per tutto un sistema integrato. Con la bici ricaricata dall’energia pulita prodotta dalla pensilina sarà possibile a Padova percorrere fino a ben 60 chilometri ad una velocità massima di 25 chilometri orari, ragion per cui ci si potrà spostare sul mezzo a due ruote dal centro della città fino alla zona industriale e ritorno.
