Come si può minimamente credere, ormai, alle parole della Tepco? Il caso della società giapponese che gestisce la centrale nucleare di Fukushima ha dell’incredibile: falsità, informazioni nascoste, tutto nella maniera più spudorata. Passa il tempo e via via si scoprono sempre nuove, drammatiche verità sull’incidente e sulla gestione post incidente della centrale.

Dopo un ampio numero di secchi e solidissimi dinieghi, la Tepco ieri ha annunciato, molto tranquillamente, che in realtà le acque radioattive sotterranee sono finite nell’Oceano Pacifico. E con questo ammette, senza tanti problemi, al suo solito, di aver spudoratamente mentito finora. E dato che dalla centrale nucleare continuano ad arrivare allarmi su allarmi, la situazione è come minimo inquietante. Si ricorderà che da diversi giorni si è registrata un’autentica impennata dei valori di radioattività, con i valori di trizio, Cesio 134 e 137, in particolare, che sono schizzati alle stelle nel pozzo di osservazione presso la centrale, ma ci sono già nuove preoccupanti notizie.

Infatti proprio oggi si è sprigionato del vapore dal quinto piano della struttura e si tratta della seconda fuoriuscita di vapore in una settimana. La Tepco, inutile dirlo, ripete che non si è registrato alcun aumento dei livelli di radioattività, e probabilmente ciò è vero. Ma intanto non dà grandi spiegazioni in merito all’accaduto.

L’incidente di Fukushima continua a essere l’esempio lampante di come, quando si parla di nucleare, le certezze possano venire meno con poco. Il preparatissimo Giappone, con la gestione disastrosa della Tepco, dimostra chiaramente come in situazioni di emergenza le difficoltà possano nascere e moltiplicarsi anche nei paesi in assoluto più avanzati e preparati.
