Terremoto a Roma previsto (no comment) per l’11 maggio 2011, domani. La profezia di Raffaele Bendandi, morto nel 1979, l’uomo che prevedeva i terremoti, sta seminando il panico nella capitale, con fughe programmate dalla città eterna, in preda a quella che è una vera e propria psicosi.
L’INGV, L’Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia ha organizzato un open day, con l’obiettivo di vincere la paura appellandosi alla razionalità.
Dalle ore 10 alle ore 20 di domani la sala di monitoraggio H24 sarà aperta al pubblico e i ricercatori saranno a disposizione dei cittadini nella sede dell’istituto, in via di Vigna Murata 605. Domani in realtà non ci sarà un solo terremoto, ce ne saranno circa trenta in tutta Italia, spiegano dall’INGV. 
E’ il numero medio di scosse rilevate ogni giorno sul nostro territorio. Sulle probabilità di un terremoto di grave intensità nella capitale, gli esperti spiegano:
Roma è ubicata piuttosto ai margini della zona a maggiore sismicità della penisola e quindi ha una pericolosità sismica modesta. La probabilità che avvenga un forte terremoto in Italia centrale in un qualunque giorno dell’anno è bassa, ma non è nulla. Questo ovviamente vale anche per l’11 maggio 2011.
Sulla profezia di Bendandi, l’INGV spiega che i suoi studi
si basavano su allineamenti di pianeti e altri corpi celesti, principalmente il Sole e la Luna. Dagli appunti di Bendandi non emerge nessuna previsione di un eventuale sisma a Roma per l’11 maggio di quest’anno. La responsabile dell’istituzione, la Dr.ssa Paola Lagorio, ha più volte ribadito questo fatto.
All’INGV sottolineano che
non è possible prevedere i terremoti. Pensare di fare previsioni di ore o giorni è molto presuntuoso per un ricercatore, la natura non è così semplice e obbediente come vorremmo.
E se non bastasse per vincere il timore diffuso di un terremoto a Roma, l’INGV ha pensato di rassicurare la popolazione con un video. Lo alleghiamo in calce al post insieme al video dell’invito all’open day. Buona visione e niente paura!
