Legambiente insorge: la mappa delle bandiere blu per il 2010 non è credibile. Le obiezioni della nota associazione ambientalista arrivano a pochi giorni dalla pubblicazione della lista delle località balneari meritevoli, tra le polemiche sollevate dalle spiagge escluse e la soddisfazione delle new entries, in particolare della Liguria, che si è vista assegnare ben 17 bandierine. Stando a Legambiente i criteri di selezione sono abbastanza arbitrari per poter ritenere la mappa poco attendibile. Lo ha spiegato a CNRmedia, Sebastiano Venneri, vice presidente nazionale di Legambiente:
”Ci sono secondo me due pietre di inciampo sulla vicenda delle Bandiere Blu: una é rappresentata dal fatto che si tratta di autocandidature: quindi non viene passato in rassegna l’intero territorio nazionale, ma solo le località che rispondono al questionario mandato dalla Fee”.
Obiezione lecita: in Italia esistono moltissimi scorci di mare pulito incontaminato, poco conosciuti e pubblicizzati (e permetteteci di dire che incontaminato e poco pubblicizzato vanno spesso di pari passo). Se non si fossero autocandidate, queste località non verrebbero dunque prese in considerazione per l’assegnazione delle bandiere blu.
Seconda obiezione:
per entrare nel novero delle località candidate della Fee bisogna effettuare almeno due prelievi al mese sulle acque di balneazione; c’è però una legge italiana che permette alle località più pulite (quelle che per due anni non hanno fatto registrare valori di inquinamento significativi) di effettuare un solo prelievo al mese. E sono tante località, per un totale di circa 2.000 chilometri di costa italiana. Sono i chilometri di costa più puliti, che usufruiscono di questa legge (che permette anche di risparmiare quattrini, dato che i prelievi costano), a non poter accedere al riconoscimento della Bandiera Blu. E’ un paradosso, nel senso che le migliori località dal punto di vista della qualità delle acque poi non possono ottenere la Bandiera Blu dalla Fee perché effettuano un solo prelievo, come prevede la legge, e non due, come vorrebbe la Fee.
Polemiche anche sull’assegnazione della bandiera blu alla spiaggia di Anzio, in Lazio: Legambiente voleva assegnargli la bandiera nera. In questo caso parlare di divergenze di vedute sarebbe riduttivo. A Venneri:
riesce difficile immaginare che la mappa disegnata dalle Bandiere Blu – 17 località in Liguria e appena due spiagge nella regione Sardegna – sia una mappa credibile per chi ama il mare.

Sono d’accordo con Lega ambiente: il mare di Varigotti-Finale Ligure per tutta l’estate scorsa è stato perennemente coperto da uno strato di liquame di evidente origine fognaria. tant’è che per quanto dica il sindaco di Finale non c’è alcun collegamento con la rete fognaria di Vado Ligura (Savona) e a 200 m. al largo del molo di Varigotti c’è ancora lo scarico fognario che scarica a mare il “prodotto” del paese. Varigotti è un luogo splendido ci vado da più di 50 anni, ma ogni anno è peggio checché ne dicano i politici.

è vero Patrizia e non credo sia l’unico caso, mi capita di andare al mare a Monopoli in Puglia, che è vicinissimo a Polignano a Mare (che ha ricevuto la bandiera blu) e almeno io non noto differenze, l’acqua è limpidissima e c’è molta attenzione per la gestione dei rifiuti, pensa che ci sono i bidoni della differenziata sulle spiaggette libere! Quello che mi fa riflettere di più è però il caso della Sardegna, non credo sia possibile che abbia solo due bandiere blu, qualcosa non quadra nei criteri, è evidente!
alla Sicilia ogni anno danno si e no 3/4 bandiere blu ( chi sa’ da cosa dipende ) quando abbiamo un mare spendido, per non parlare di Lipari, Panarea, Pantelleria, Ustica, riserva dello Zingaro.ecc……
