Per uno stile di vita green e un risparmio energetico anche a casa, arrivano gli articoli di plastica riciclata a km zero, i Ri-prodotti Revet e Utilplastic. Le aziende della provincia di Pistoia, hanno ideato una serie di oggetti per la casa, come secchi, palette, articoli per la pulizia e l’igiene, ma anche scope e scopettoni ottenuti dal riciclaggio del plasmix, la frazione di plastiche povere eterogenee che provengono dalla raccolta differenziata.
I prototipi dei Ri-prodotti in Toscana saranno presentati la prossima settimana all’appuntamento Fiera Ambiente di Francoforte, il Salone internazionale dedicato alla Green economy e allo sviluppo sostenibile.
I Ri-prodotti in Toscana sono principalmente oggetti d’uso quotidiano realizzati interamente in plastica riciclata post-consumo in quanto proviene dalla raccolta differenziata e dagli scarti di lavorazione. Sono prodotti green a km zero perché la plastici riciclata proviene dai cassonetti della raccolta differenziata della regione. Il progetto è un modo concreto per capire come i nostri rifiuti vengono riciclati, e come possono tornare a vivere riducendo l’impatto sull’ambiente e l’inquinamento. Rifiuti come risorsa, dunque. Utilplastic e Revet hanno selezionato e trattato i rifiuti plastici: sacchetti, vaschette, imballaggi, pellicole…e li hanno trasformati in granuli che poi sono stati miscelati con plastica industriale post-produzione e hanno ottenuto i Ri-prodotti. Per la produzione degli oggetti della linea Less Waste More Life utilizziamo un materiale che deriva dai rifiuti post-consumo, la parte meno nobile delle plastiche, che fino ad ora era destinato a finire in discarica o al recupero energetico. Siamo i primi a sperimentare l’uso di questi materiali per oggetti casalinghi. Nel progettarli abbiamo anche scartato l’idea di renderli cromaticamente più accattivanti, perché significava utilizzare una colorazione artificiale in contrasto con la filosofia del progetto. I nostri articoli sono belli dentro, la loro estetica sta nel plus che si portano dentro. Ogni accessorio è diverso dagli altri, perché nella sua fibra ci sono le tracce di milioni di cose passate per centinaia di mani, e con la sua essenzialità estetica rendiamo omaggio alla sua unicità.
Il loro costo sarà necessariamente contenuto innanzitutto per favorire la vendita degli eco-prodotti e poi anche perché i materiali sono a km zero e non ci sono ulteriori spese, e anidride carbonica, da sommare. Il progetto Da casa a casa non servirà solo i cittadini: l’impiego del materiale riciclato potrà servire a produrre componenti di prodotti più complessi, come scooter, pannelli fonoassorbenti, arredi per l’esterno. Da casa a casa indica per la prima volta la possibilità diretta del cittadino di acquistare prodotti realizzati con parte della plastica dallo stesso separata in casa e inserita negli appositi contenitori stradali o consegnata in sacchi o bidoncini con il porta a porta. A differenza degli acquisti verdi incentivati dalla Regione, dove il materiale conferito separatamente dal cittadino e trasformato da Revet può essere riacquistato dal Comune come arredi per esterni (da cittadino ad istituzioni) o della plastica che Revet processa ed invia a imprese che realizzano componenti di prodotti complessi quali scooter o pannelli fonoassorbenti (da cittadino ad imprese), in questo caso il rifiuto differenziato torna a colei/colui che ha separato la materia all’origine (da cittadino a cittadino) offrendo la possibilità diretta di riacquisto di un oggetto che da casa ha preso il via con la separazione e a casa ritorna come oggetto riutilizzabile.
