Riconoscimento al rifuto: Riarteco 2008, la più grande mostra in Italia dedicata al riciclo

Per presenza di opere e flusso di pubblico Riarteco è davvero la più grande mostra in Italia dedicata ai rifiuti, riassemblati e ri-usati e ri-pensati fino a creare opere d’arte e oggetti d’uso quotidiano. La mostra è allestita ed ospitata all’interno di APRE, evento dedicato all’Architettura sostenibile e per il rispermio energetico.

L’evento si tiene a Firenze, a partire da oggi, 6 aprile 2008, e le porte della mostra saranno aperte fino al 15 aprile. Dalle h.10.00 alle h.19.00 artisti, organizzatori ed espositori vi aspettano in piazza della Neve, ex Murate.


All’interno di APRE® architettura per il risparmio energetico, rassegna internazionale su aziende, prodotti e progetti per la realizzazione di spazi abitativi e lavorativi che siano atossici e a impatto zero, presenta per la quarta volta la mostra RiartEco su arte, architettura e design ecologici. Un evento pensato e realizzato per stimolare la creatività degli artisti e dell’industria su come sfruttare e recuperare materie a basso costo e su come modificarne la forma creando cose che abbiano utilità diverse dalle originali.

APRE® pone l’attenzione sul problema dello smaltimento dei materiali edili, sia tossici, sia atossici, che oggi finiscono semplicemente in discarica: anche in questo caso, un’opera creata con del materiale inerte sarà un plus per la valutazione finale.
APRE è un evento espositivo nato con l’intento di “cambiare la politica industriale portandola a considerare redditizio il recupero (e non l’abbattimento) delle costruzioni. Oggi, in ogni campo il consumo sembra diventare sempre più dispersivo e veloce: la vita dei prodotti è sempre più breve nell’uso e sempre più lunga in discarica. Molti materiali sono riciclabili, ma il costo del processo di recupero molte volte non è considerato conveniente”.
Per i visitatori l’ingresso è gratuito e tutti coloro che vorranno avranno la possibilità di decretare l’opera d’arte vincitore di Riarteco, ritirando una scheda all’ingresso della mostra e riconsegnandola compilata alla fine del giro tra bottiglie trasformate in pesci, catrame divenuto sedia, ruote diventate librerie…

Riarteco è davvero una bella mostra, tra scarti e rifiuti si ricevono stimoli creativi e si ammira l’ingegnosità di chi ha scelto di donare una seconda vita ad oggetti destinati alla discarica. Se siete a Firenze, o se volete passare un week-end all’insegna della sostenibilità, Riarteco è l’occasione da non perdere.

Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
