La parola d’ordine è “ridurre l’impatto sociale e ambientale del lusso, dello sport e della moda”. Ciò include un Laboratorio Creativo sulla Sostenibilità che, attraverso una partnership con Cradle-to-Cradle, ripensi e riprenda in considerazione lo sviluppo dei prodotti e delle imprese.
Il PPR Group ha intenzione di lavorare per ridurre e attenuare il suo impatto sull’ambiente, come spiega Francois-Henri Pinault, amministratore delegato di PPR, in un comunicato stampa:
La mia profonda convinzione che la sostenibilità crea valore è parte della mia visione strategica per il PPR. La sostenibilità può – e deve – fare emergere nuovi modelli di business molto ambizioso e diventare una leva di competitività per i nostri marchi. PPR HOME ci fornirà nuovi approcci più sostenibili per contribuire a un mondo migliore per il lungo termine.
Già quando molte star cominciarono a svestirsi delle pellicce vere per indossare quelle sintetiche, una speranza è nata nei nostri cuori, ma una svolta del genere nelle più importanti marche mondiali potrebbe cambiare ogni cosa. Quest’anno abbiamo già visto i primi passi di questa politica con alcune sfilate green, in cui alcuni prodotti erano davvero ecologici, come ad esempio la borsa Puma fatta con le tute dei lavoratori riciclate, il cappotto di Stella McCartney fatto con lana biologica o le nuove buste di Gucci fatte con carta riciclata, ma questo che fino ad oggi è stato solo un’esperimento, potrebbe diventare la regola nei prossimi anni.
